well, I certainly wasn't a very good theme park geek last week.

Last week was chock full of gaming goodness. The Game Developer's conference was a stark contrast to the other industry conference I attended this year (IAAPA, for theme parks and such.)

There was a pervasive love of learning and sharing knowledge that surrounded the conference. There are always exceptions, but in all, I was quite impressed by the comraderie in this relatively new discipline.

I walked right next to Will Wright (resident genius of the computing world, responsible for Sim City and the Sims, along with anything else sim-related...) My friend Shawn went so far as to give Will his business card, which read:

"You're a friend of Shawn P*****.

Will took one look at it and responded: "...Well, this is.... direct..."

There's so much to write, but I'm so damn exhausted. Red eye flights across the country SUCK donkey balls. Dear lord.

And I have a rehearsal in 2 hours.

I wish I had a real job. Grad school is starting to tire me.
