At about 4:15, I wandered away from my desk to use the restroom.

Funny enough, everyone was standing around in the hallway...

They had meant to surprise me at my desk, but in the hallway did just as well for them.

They all gave me a balloon and a card and some presents and thanked me for all of my work - it was really sweet and made me feel very special.

(One of the presents was a silly stuffed frog that ribbits much like the one in our game...)

And all this even though I'll be working on another game just down the hall! :)

I think it's appropriate, in light of such a supportive environment, that today was the day I sent out my notice of withdrawal to my graduate program directors.
