where I went, and where I'm going

I dropped Hunter off at the BART station and said good-bye to him for what will be a little more than a week. Although I'm still tempted to come back sooner - it seems crappy that we won't be able to spend any of our marvelous SimParentCompany weeklong holiday together.
I could have driven him to the airport, but this would have been foolhardy for several reasons:
So we're both opting for the BART. I leave tomorrow AM. As in, Ass Meridian, or something. Why I always end up on early morning flights is totally beyond me. I'm NOT a morning person.
Especially not when there's a stranger pawing through my underwear with decided interest at a security checkpoint.
@#@#$@#$ Orange Alert!
Anyway. Once I came home, there were many plans:
You wanna know what I ACTUALLY did?
I turned up my music on my beloved non-sucky computer speakers, and I danced around the second bedroom, occasionally singing along.
There. There's my secret, exciting life. I run around like a fool to my MP3's. Sometimes I even do situps. Amazing, I know.
It's nice not to have neighbors.
So apparently Need For Speed on Xbox arrived. Huh. So do I get Doug SimCity 4 or return it and get NFS UG instead?
He does have a laptop, so maybe SimCity would be nice as a take-it-with-you gift. Assuming the laptop runs the game and all. It's a resource hog.
But of course if he doesn't like it I'll feel doubly guilty since I know all the people that made it.
I'm actually at home right now. Lazy me. There's no one at work anymore so I'm in no rush. My tasks today:
Not so bad as a day goes. I just need to get off my ass. It's raining here and I'm not enticed. If it weren't for that picking-up bit I could stay here all day.
In any case, if I don't write again, have a very happy holiday. I'll have my laptop with me this year so that I can post without accidentally stumbling upon Dad and Kyle's porn downloads. Can we say DEAR GOD?!?! What a lovely family we have, really.
Happy Holidays.
